Hi! My name is Earl, and I’d like to take a moment to introduce you to my portfolio and blog. In order to find out more about me professionally, please visit my online business card and my LinkedIn account, as well as my Resume. There you will find more information about my work and the contacts that I have made doing it. You can also find out much more about me via a more narrative form by visiting Hi, My Name Is Earl. The short of it is that I am the Technology Coordinator at Roxboro Community School in Roxboro, North Carolina.
This portfolio serves a variety of functions. First, it is an outlet for sharing the work that I have done as part of the Master of Arts in Educational Technology program at Michigan State University. Second, it is a repository of hopefully useful posts about using technology in a variety of different types of classrooms that any teacher in North Carolina (and elsewhere) can tap into as he/she tweaks and grows in their practice as an educator. Additionally, it serves as a means for me to give back to the educational community that has helped to foster who I am as an educator. Finally, I hope that this will be a contact point with other educators so that we can grow together in education and more particularly the use of technology in education.
